| If I had not read the book long before I saw the movie, I would probably give this film: Message in a Bottle 10 in the standings. The actors are excellent and the DivX film Message in a Bottle is very good. But, as I mentioned, had read the book. Let me rephrase your "I had fallen in love with the book." Nicholas Sparks is a great writer. I dislike the entire sugar and vanilla love story books that many authors tend to write today, the books you read and throw in the recycling box. Nicholas Sparks is well above them all. All the words used in this book are great, and because I loved the book so much, I had already imagined my own version of that movie. To tell you the truth I saw the male character in my dreams to Kevin Costner, because I love him. Robin was a very pleasant surprise. The Message in a Bottle Romance is very good, I would say that it is a waste of time to see, but I would strongly recommend that you read the book and create your own, very personal film. |
| Before he could yell, "My eyes! My eyes!" I realized I was seeing, basically, my love story developed before me. You see, I married a widower. I just hate when people call my husband a widower. What do I do? Dead? I think not. I am glad that this DVD film Message in a Bottle shows what is something for the unfortunate woman (or perhaps men) who think that just fell in love. My favorite quote in the whole Message in a Bottle Romance movie was, "It is very busy to get there." Because that's exactly how it feels. The scene where the boat launch and witnesses that the man likes to admit that it lacks "Catherine" every day. Funny, my late husband was the name of the wife, Grrr, Kathryn. So, although it was painful to watch ... I did go out with a new appreciation of the fact that my husband did the typical "push / pull" what is shown in the film. My husband realized that I was someone who does not want to lose, and she realized she wanted to live for tomorrow rather than yesterday. |
| This Message in a Bottle movie is a classic. For anyone who has real feelings and tragically lost the love of his life, which may relate to this movie. Excellent story, a real tear Terror, but a love of it. Continually maintain the interest all the time, and before you know it is 2-1/2 hours --- although not drag on like a bunch of movies. Paul Newman, Kevin Costner and Robin Wright Penn are all perfect in their respective roles. It is a story to show there can be no life after a lost love. One of my top 10 favorite movies of all time! Kevin Costner said it best near the end --- to say that a person is very lucky to find true love once in their life, but twice is to find a true miracle! My Top 10 films of all time! A must see! You will not be disappointed! |
| A wonderful film. a true story of true love. Kevin Costner gives what I consider to be one of his best performances. Although it is known that a Message in a Bottle Romance is credible in all respects. The interaction between all the characters are so realistic. You must see the film. |
| I liked the tranquility of the surroundings. The beautiful morning fog near the ocean is a natural calm. Usually only a wonderful film. Very emotional. Each of us have loved or have loved so deeply as to our very souls jump unfathomable joy. This Message in a Bottle Romance film grabs hold of the viewer's heart and keeps you intrigued from start to finish. Committed inside wanting to get there, take hold of life and love with the clarity that we all want to be loved. Reminds us that when love, wherever unconditional. That is forever. A well-written film. One, everyone should take time to see. |
| This is an ideal movie: Message in a Bottle to see with their closest loved ones. I have never read the book, but I think the film: Message in a Bottle has done an excellent job in capturing a range of emotions in a movie: Message in a Bottle of grease. I was mesmerized with virtually the entire history of a boy who possibly met with calls fatefully bizarre circumstances. |
| This is a "must" for anyone who has loved and lost a spouse through death. Although a tear Terror, I thought it was absolutely fabulous and I recommend it. Generally do not like movies with a sad end, but it was an exceptionally well-made film. But be forewarned, bring tissues! |
| Just rented this Message in a Bottle Romance ... Now I am buying! Kevin Costner and Robin Wright Penn are beautifully bound. The chemistry between them is very realistic. Like to see together on future projects. Paul Newman, as usual, is fantastic. To do a romantic movie! |
