I can not remember seeing this film, in the Virginia Colony Theater in Portsmouth, where he was released. Since then I have seen at least 30 times, most recently last night. In my humble opinion, Paul Newman and Robert Redford made a couple of excellent Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid Crime 30 years ago, [and expanded a few years later, in The Sting]. In reading the evaluation presented on this Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid movie that makes me happy to see that most people agree with my opinion. How could I not like these characters, along with Etta, "the boys" after them, and finally Strother [which will always be remembered for his "what we have here is a lack of communication" Cool Hand Luke in] Martin? Not to mention the scenes where the image Etta when Butch Logan has to fight, when they jump into the water and, of course, put an end to the sequence of events. I will not say they do not like that before, "but this is a keeper. And if you agree with my assessment, and has a DVD player, you see the DVD interviews, etc., to give a better picture of this excellent film.

Follows the exploits of the two outlaws race, along hurtling towards its destination in an America that celebrates and destroys all at once. Newman and Redford have a wonderful chemistry. The film: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid does not mind having a few laughs along the way.
